Dear fellow students,
first thanks to Dierdre Crommie; her description of how she set up the
mime made a lot more sense to someone not computer literate enough to
get it sorted out from the example Mosaic-ini file in the original
instructions. I found it worked exactly similarly using Netscape3 and
WindowsNT. I found I could register with BioMOO o.k. and log in with
my id and password via telnet, but the Web-MOO site would not accept
my id etc. I could however log in there as a guest. See you there
later! By the way Mariza, GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time ie. the
time in the U.K. Greenwich is a suburb of London, where the Greenwich
Observatory used to be and so in ? (don't know the date but centuries
ago) the meridian was arbitrarily set to go through there and when the
sun is at it's highest point it is 12.00 noon here.
