Hi Folks,
It won't be so long before you have to submit you project to us for
mounting and assessment (that is for those of you doing a project).

The best way for you to submit is to email you project to me. We
can arrange for an ftp server if necesssary. You project should be
compressed and bundled up into a single file and sent as an email
attachment.

The way you bundle up you project will depend on what platform you are
developing your project on. If you are on a PC then I suggest a program
like winzip or pkzip (if you don't have these already then a simple web
search will find them or I can point you in the right direction). For
Unix machines you can use tar and gzip. For Mac's things are a
little more difficult because we don't have any locally, but
normally we can handle any Mac files using a PC.

You projects will be mounted on a Unix based web server, therefore please
don't use any special character codes in you filenames or spaces, as these
don't translate at all well on Unix. Also Unix is case sensitive so
please be carefull when referencing files.

Any queries then please don't hesitate to contact me (things are little
busy for me at the moment, so I'm not be able to reply instantly, but
hopefully I will get back to you in a day or so).

Cheers,
Dave H.
