Dear PPS96-97 People,

********** BioMOO Meeting Timetable **********

BioMOO meetings will be held in the PPS base at the following times:-

Thu Nov 13, 15:00 GMT (with apologies for the short notice ;( )
Wed Nov 26, 15:00 GMT -and- 23:00 GMT
Thu Dec 4, 15:00 GMT

The main purpose of the first of these meetings will be the same as
the previous meetings - to learn about how to use BioMOO and to meet
some of the other course participants (students, tutors and consultants).
Everyone is welcome, particularly those who were not able to attend
those meetings.

The main purpose of the meetings on Nov 26 and Dec 4 will be to discuss
Sections 2 and 3 of the course material.

I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend at least
some of these meetings. Please do let me, Dave Houldershaw or the list
know if you are still having technical problems with connecting to BioMOO
or if these times are all inconvenient for you. Those of you using the
simple telnet interface will almost certainly find it easier to use a
client program. There are links to clients for PCs, Macs and Unix
machines from the PPS BioMOO page (under Technology).

There will also probably be a "virtual Christmas party" for course
participants somewhere in BioMOO. The most likely date for this is Friday
19 Dec. Watch this space.

Best wishes,

Dr. Clare Sansom
