Welcome to the Principles of Protein Structure course.
I would first like to introduce myself as coordinating tutor for PPS. I
will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the course from an
academic point of view. Do please email me at any time
(c.sansom@mail.cryst.bbk.ac.uk) if you have questions or problems. (Dave
Houldershaw is your first point of contact for specifically technical
problems.) You can also email the lists - there are plenty of people
involved in PPS who are available to help.

Please attend whichever of these meetings is most convenient for you.
BioMOO meetings are not compulsory but we hope that you will attend
whenever you are able to. We hope that at least one of these times will
be convenient for most of you. Please do let me know as soon as possible
(by email to c.sansom@mail.cryst.bbk.ac.uk, or to this list) if these
times are inconvenient for you, and we'll see what we can do.
The purpose of these introductory meetings will be to introduce the
concept of this virtual reality communication environment. You will learn
how to move around the environment and communicate with other course
participants - students, tutors and consultants.
Later in the course BioMOO will be used for discussions about the course
material and the assignments, and for specialist seminars from experts.
